NodPod is a direct-to-consumer health & wellness brand founded by Melissa Bamberg in 2014, when she discovered the clinical phenomenon of Deep Touch Pressure while doing personal research on fill materials for a strapless sleep mask.
The company quickly took its form with a mission of providing its customers with products made to relieve stress and promote healthy and sound sleep.
NodPod provides weighted sleep therapy through various products such as sleep masks, blankets, and more.
The challenge
The company had developed a strong brand and online presence by establishing an effective strategy to drive organic traffic.
However, the company was finding it challenging to develop and implement the correct paid media strategies necessary to continue scaling the brand.
Because of this, the company needed a team to develop effective cross-channel customer acquisition and retention strategies.


The solution
We began by performing an in-depth analysis of NodPod’s website, customer demographics, current strategy, and market trends to learn as much as possible about the brand and identify the major areas of opportunity.
Understanding that the company was relying too heavily on owned media and organic traffic we developed a cross-channel paid media strategy to increase brand awareness and online revenue by targeting highly relevant audiences across Facebook, TikTok, Google, and Influencer marketing.
Next, we implemented an effective customer retention strategy through klaviyo automated email flows, giving NodPod the ability to automatically re-engage users based on each user’s interaction with the brand.
